WHY MY ONLINE LESSON IS DIFFERENT?
There are several reasons that I am proudly offer the finest online piano lesson possible. First and foremost, I care about quality.
1. AUDIO EQUIPMENT
At my studio, I have equipped with professional recording microphone and audio interface. What does it mean? Using professional microphone lets through the piano sound evenly through online application such as Zoom and FaceTime, as opposed to built-in microphone on computer devices. Built-ins are generally for human voices. In this way, I can control sound volume more effectively, conveying the timbre nuances of the acoustic piano.
2. MULTIPLE CAMERA USE
I use my computer’s built-in camera for general view, and overhead webcam for detailed finger line up. This is especially very helpful for the beginners or younger age who would need guidance how to place the fingers on the keyboard/identifying keys. 3. Monitor
Instead of iPad/iPhone, I use 27 inch iMac. This allows me to see the details on the student’s side, especially their finger alignment. As a result, I can give you more specific instructions what needs to be improved.
Although built-in output works great in general, I also have headphones used in professional audio recording as back up, just in case when the student’s output signal is weak.

I have started making my online video tutorials. This focuses on mainly technical details how to conduct the lesson from scratch. The clips are rather targeted towards instructor’s how to, than how to play the piano as a student. Still, you can see how students can also relate to it, so please check them out. I accept students of any level, wherever you are as long as our lesson time corresponds to each other. I am located in Easter Time Zone available until 9:30pm. Please include specific of your location/time zone and availabilities.
Please note: Students who are 6 years old and younger must take the lessons under supervision. Please refer to this blog why I am saying this.
